We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities
- - Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry and general household management.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience and understanding when dealing with individuals with varying needs
Experience:
- Experience in home care or assisted living settings is beneficial.
- No experience needed, will train.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
