Duties Operate heavy equipment including excavators and skidsteers.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor repairs and perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on excavator and skidsteer.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety practices are required.
