POSITION:
Heavy Equipment Operator

WAGE:
Based on Experience
HOURS of WORK:
Monday to Friday, some weekend requirement,
Overtime pay after 50hrs/week.
Position Description:
This position requires a skilled Loader &/or Backhoe Operator with experience is sewer & water renewal work.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment including loader, grader, backhoe
- Experience in sewer and water excavation
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive Attitude
- Reliable and Responsible
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs
- Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities - Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, willing and able to work long hours and occasional weekends during peak season
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of five (5) years experience operating equipment
- Experience operating in residential spaces
- Class 1 Driver License will be given preference
- Clean Driving Abstract
- Other duties as assigned
