Duties
- Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client preferences.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert advice on styles and products.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement the services provided.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with current styles.
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling is preferred, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
- Background in retail sales is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to effectively promote products and services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in a salon environment is essential.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new techniques are key attributes for success in this role.
