Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gutter Technician to join our team. As a Gutter Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and estimating of gutter systems, as well as related tasks such as fascia and soffit installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform gutter and eavestrough cleaning, leak repair, and installations
- Repair and reroute downspouts and drainage
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain work being done and provide basic service quotes
- Use a company-provided mobile app to schedule, log jobs, and manage workflow
- Inspect and document jobs with photos and notes
- Maintain tools, safety gear, and work vehicle (if applicable)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in gutter/eavestrough work or similar trade
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable interacting with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Able to generate basic job quotes on-site
- Familiarity with smartphones or tablets; able to use scheduling and reporting apps
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- Willingness to work long hours and maintain a flexible schedule depending on job volume and weather
- WCB coverage is preferred or must be willing to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus.
