Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and safety-conscious GROUND WORKER to join our arborist crew. In this role, you'll assist with day-to-day ground operations, ensuring safe and efficient job sites. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist arborists with tree removals, pruning, and planting operations
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, chipper, and other equipment (training provided)
- Safely load, unload, and handle tools and materials
- Manage brush and limb cleanup during jobs
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tree work, landscaping, is an asset (training provided)
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and chainsaws (PPE Provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and communication.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites.
