Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Grocery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that their shopping experience is enjoyable and efficient. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Open availability is a huge asset as we are looking for a qualified candidate available during regular school hours. This is NOT a student oriented role at this time.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries about items in the store.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery aisles and checkout areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure stock levels are maintained and shelves are replenished.
- Maintaining a friendly and positive attitude in our team oriented work place.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or grocery settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous. We are open to cross training in other department in order to provide more hours.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive customer and teammate relationships.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
