Summary
We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Garage Steakhouse and Grill in Canada. This role is vital in delivering high-quality grilled dishes that align with our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled items to perfection, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain consistency.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety practices.
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new grilled dishes based on seasonal ingredients.
- Participate in inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Familiarity with various cooking equipment and tools related to grilling.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is an asset (preferred).

Pay: $17.31-$22.00 per hour
