Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, including meats, vegetables, and seafood, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperatures and adheres to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing for service.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
• Help train new kitchen staff on grill techniques and safety practices as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a cooking or grill position, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and other cooking appliances.
• A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a restaurant setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
