Perched 1,000 feet above Okanagan Lake, The Rise Resort in Vernon, BC, is a breathtaking championship layout designed by the legendary duo Fred Couples and Gene Bates. With its dramatic terrain, generous landing areas, and five sets of tees, The Rise offers a dynamic golfing experience for all skill levels. Featuring 12 holes with panoramic lake views, this course isn’t just a place to play—it’s where you rise above it all.
We are currently hiring Greenskeepers for the 2025 season. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a dedicated team maintaining one of the most scenic golf courses in Canada, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate turf maintenance equipment including mowers, tractors, bunker rakes, and specialty tools
- Assist with daily course setup and maintenance, including hand-watering, hole changing, bunker raking, and edging
- Perform general landscaping tasks such as hedge trimming, string trimming, and tree limbing
- Support irrigation system maintenance and repairs
- Participate in seasonal course improvement projects
- Work early morning shifts, including in various weather conditions
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Physically able to lift up to 25 kg
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and reliability
