Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Grader to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, specfically in grading . This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can operate a grader safely and efficiently while ensuring high-quality work standards.
Duties
- Operate the grader to create level surfaces for roads, and other construction projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on the grader and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate grading activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Utilize additional equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators as needed during construction projects.
- Conduct site assessments to determine grading requirements and adjust operations accordingly.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in grader operation with a strong understanding of grading techniques and best practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation, including dozers, excavators, and skid steers as asset.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate vehicles as required for site transport.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
