Overview
A Golf Course Maintenance & Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining the grounds of a golf course using various equipment and tools. Their duties include operating mowers, tractors, and other specialized equipment to keep fairways, greens, and other areas in optimal condition. They also perform tasks like changing pin placements, removing trash, and preparing sand bunkers. Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Equipment: Safely operates a variety of equipment, including mowers, tractors, aerifiers, sod cutters, and other specialized tools.
- Grounds Maintenance: Mows greens, tees, slopes, collars, rough, and fairways, using appropriate equipment.
- Course Preparation: Changes pin placements, removes trash, and prepares sand bunkers for daily play.
- Equipment Care: Properly cleans, fuels, and stores equipment after each use.
- Minor Repairs: May perform minor repairs or adjustments to equipment.
- Documentation: Keeps records of equipment maintenance and fluid use.
- Supervision: May direct other team members in equipment operation.
- Safety: Follows all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and performing tasks.

- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and lift objects.

Job Type: Part-time
