Position Overview:
Essex Golf & Country Club is seeking motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Golf Backshop Attendants. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a fast-paced golf environment while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests warmly and assist with golf bags
- Clean, organize, and store golf bags, push carts, and power carts
- Maintain cleanliness of the backshop, cart barn, and staging areas
- Prepare and stage power carts for daily play, including cleaning and charging
- Assist with end-of-day cart return and closing duties
- Support golf operations staff as needed
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Prior golf experience is an asset, but not required
