We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and drive the next stage of our growth. This role requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced food business environment, balancing operations, innovation, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across retail locations and online sales.
- Manage and support store managers, ensuring consistent execution and customer experience.
- Oversee product ordering, purchasing, and inventory management to minimize waste and maintain efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies, ensuring compliance with food safety and company standards.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills required.
- Work closely with HR to ensure employee oversight and success
Product & Menu Innovation
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on new menu development and seasonal launches.
- Facilitate rollout of shakes, specials, and new product onboarding.
- Drive innovation and growth, introducing new product categories, retail strategies, and partnerships.
Sales & Financial Management
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Ensure stores meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior leadership.
People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop store managers and frontline teams.
- Create a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-first service.
- Assist in hiring, training, and performance management.
Technology & Systems
- Comfortable using Google Drive, Google Forms, Sheets, Docs, and other digital tools to streamline reporting and communication.
- Support adoption of technology-based systems for scheduling, inventory, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality management (multi-location experience is an asset).
- Proven ability to manage operations, sales growth, and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, inventory, and cost control.
- Creative mindset with a passion for health, food, and innovation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach teams.
- Comfortable with technology, reporting tools, and process automation.
- Able to travel to retail locations as necessary (locations are in multiple cities)
