Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable summer student to assist with lawn maintenance and general labour duties. This hands-on role supports the upkeep of outdoor spaces and assists with various physical tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, raking, and watering.
- Assist with weeding, planting, and other landscaping tasks.
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely.
- Support general maintenance and cleanup of outdoor and worksite areas.
- Lift, move, and organize materials and tools as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and work under the direction of the site supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to perform manual labour and outdoor work.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with lawn care or maintenance work is an asset but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 5P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
