Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated driver/labourer, who is willing to learn new skills, to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Duties may include bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling. Out of town work may be required. No experience necessary but are considered an asset.
We are willing to train the right candidates with no experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks as needed to enhance insulation effectiveness.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and properly store tools and materials after use.
- Ensure that the proper documentation is maintained. Completing all daily work sheets.
- Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs, or malfunctions.
- Pre-trip inspections.
- Complete manifest/ logbook.
- Drive company trucks in a safe and respectful manner.
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Letter of experience of minimum 3 years driving heavy weight vehicle
- Must have steel-toed boots.
- Air brakes and a clean driving abstract are an asset.

- occasional weekend as needed
