Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the production and assembly processes. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be involved in assembling and fabricating products, utilizing both hand and power tools, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools to assemble and fabricate components as per specifications.
- Must be ok with lifting around 50 pounds.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding tasks, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Should have experience in heavy lifting in fast pace environment.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment and understanding assembly processes.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification may be required.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
