Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive experience while providing essential services. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a knack for upselling products, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with fuel purchases and other services.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to inform customers about available items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station premises, including fuel pumps and convenience store areas.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary to ensure product availability.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with technology sales or familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and services offered at the gas station.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
