Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator / Garment Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating industrial sewing machines and handling various types of fabrics for garment production, repairs, or alterations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, hem, and assemble garments or textile products
- Read and interpret patterns, designs, or instructions
- Perform alterations, repairs, and finishing work as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Meet daily production goals with attention to quality and detail
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a seamstress or sewing machine operator
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, etc.)
- Ability to follow patterns and instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to sit and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Strong time management and reliability
Preferred:
- Experience with custom tailoring, uniforms, or mass production
- Basic knowledge of fabric types and garment construction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
