We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors and openers. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including data entry for service logs.
- Manage shipping and receiving of parts as necessary, utilizing transportation management systems.
- Analyze customer needs to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or following up with clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Garage Door Technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with SyteLine or similar software systems is a plus.
- Strong skills in shipping receiving processes and freight management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers.
- Proficient in data entry and able to type efficiently for record keeping.
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
- A valid driver's license is required; reliable transportation is essential.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
