We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team at Courtright Kiddies Korner. This role is essential in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, ensuring that all children receive the highest quality of care and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain organized classroom records, including attendance, lesson plans, and individual child assessments.
- Lead group activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills among children.
- Utilize computer operations for administrative tasks such as lesson planning and record keeping.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation effectively.
- Leadership abilities to guide support staff and encourage teamwork among colleagues.
- Proficiency in computer operation for educational planning and communication purposes.
- Ability to write clear reports and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- Familiarity with inclusive practices for working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of French is a plus to enhance communication with diverse families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.53-$28.53 per hour
