LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – FULL TIME

The Manor Village at Garrison Woods is looking for a Full-Time LPN (days) to join their amazing care team. What you offer:
· Current LPN license in good standing
· Must possess initiative, be dependable, and have sound judgement with a passion for working with senior clientele
· Superb communication skills for positive interactions with Residents, Resident family members, guests, and other team members
· Ability to lead the care team successfully and positively
· Demonstrate understanding of the role of LPN in diverse levels of care
Experience with Netcare, Medaccess, making/following up referrals, booking appointments and making reminder calls
Qualifications:
· Current LPN License in good standing
· Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and Move-N
· Understanding of advanced directives and end of life issues
· Understanding of the role of a LPN in various levels of care
· Working knowledge of regional and federal regulations in seniors’ health and housing
· Must possess current CPR ‘C’/AED certificate
· Must possess initiative and good judgement with an ability to maintain composure and confidentiality
· Must be able to multitask and set priorities using a proactive approach
· Must be excited to engage with seniors on a regular basis
· Must like meeting and conversing with new people
· Must have advanced English language skills
· Must be friendly, courteous, and empathetic
· Must be trustworthy and reliable
· Must exhibit our values in everything that they do
· Must have excellent emotional intelligence
· Ability to communicate professionally with staff associate members and Residents
· Able to follow written and verbal instructions
