Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher with a level 1, 2 or 3 child care certification to join our team and provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, classroom management, and early childhood education. The shift for this position is 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime and activities
- Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
More duties such as cleaning, toileting, dressing, etc.
Requirements
Must have Level 1, 2 or 3 certification and police check (within last 6 months)
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Police check (preferred)
- Level 2 or 3 Childcare certification (preferred)
