We are looking for an inviting and energetic individual to join our team as a Full-time Certified Dental Assistant (4 days/week). Come join us to fulfill your career aspirations and expand your horizons while providing top-quality care for our patients!
** This position has the days of the week split between both our Langley and Abbotsford locations **
1 day/week in Glow Abbotsford: 2051 McCallum Rd #201, Abbotsford
3 days/week in Glow Langley: 125 - 20826 72 Ave Langley
Responsibilities
- Welcoming pediatric patients and parents in a comforting manner to prepare the family for upcoming exam, cleaning or treatment visits.
- Educate patients and family in oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Review dental treatment plan and consent forms with parents.
- Perform prophylaxis for hygiene patients.
- Assist the dentist during variety of pediatric dental treatments including sedation and general anesthesia.
- Take x-rays on pediatric patients, process and mount them correctly.
- Placing sealants and applying SDF.
- Clean, sterilize and set up hygiene and treatment trays.
- Confidently discussing treatment recommendations with patients and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality and write thorough notes in patient management software.

Requirement
- Current CDA license and registration with BCCOHP
