We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fruiter to join our team. As a Fruiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the freshest and highest quality fruits. Duties
- Select and prepare a variety of fresh fruits for display and sale.
- Ensure that all fruits are properly stored, displayed, and maintained to meet quality standards.
- Assist customers by providing information about different types of fruits, their origins, and health benefits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fruit section, including regular stock checks and replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or quality issues to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing fruit displays that attract customers.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of various types of fruits, including seasonal availability.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for fresh produce and commitment to promoting healthy eating habits.
