Job Summary
The Front End Associate Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all customers. This position involves engaging with customers and frontend teammates, processing transactions, and assisting with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a friendly demeanor, making them the first point of contact for frontend teammates and customers.
Duties
- Be willing to learn and lead the front end team be working by example
- support and guide team members and customers in providing resolution to problems that may arise throughout a typical work day
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash and credit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist customers with product selection, offering recommendations based on their needs.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the front end operates smoothly during busy periods.
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized to enhance the shopping experience.
Skills
- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
