The Role:
Are you passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our boutique hotel in Whistler is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front office team and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and satisfaction during their stay at Adara Hotel.
Right in the heart of Whistler Village, the Adara is steps away from the lifts, world-class shopping, and some of the best dining and nightlife experiences in the Pacific Northwest. We are a boutique getaway blending the town’s rustic character and heritage with an all-new modern, Scandinavian inspired design and interior.
Responsibilities:
- Defining and implementing front desk objectives and procedures.
- Responsible for Front Desk operations.
- Learn and become proficient with MEWS PMS system.
- Hiring and training staff with support from General Manager
- Managing shift schedules.
- Tending to guests' complaints and questions and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensuring that the front desk and reception area is kept clean and organized.
- Maintaining front desk office supplies and equipment.
- Supervising staff and all front desk activities including bookings, appointments, phone calls, and emails.
- Generating reports and feedback for presentation to the general manager.
- Performing administrative duties such as filing and updating records, among others, as needed.
Requirements:

Available to start full time on or before June 22nd.
- Two years minimum Front Desk agent hotel experience.
- Front Desk Supervisor Experience preferred.
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
- Experience with Hotel PMS systems.
- Fluent in English.
- Good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to build trust with staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service.
