Family owned property. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our motel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Motel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the motel. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Oversee and assist housekeeping and maintenance operations to ensure cleanliness and functionality of all motel facilities. You will be required to take on housekeeping & laundry tasks as required.
- Monitor occupancy rates and assist in marketing initiatives to maximize bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and financial transactions.
- Implement hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff.
- You will need to assist housekeeping and laundry as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Proficient in front desk operations, including phone etiquette and guest services
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing daily operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Open availability an asset.
