Some of the duties include but are not limited to, the following:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Participating and engaging with team members in a respectful and work appropriate way
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum every week covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children
- Working on opening or closing a shift
- Assisting on the daily workflow of the daycare, assisting multiple rooms/age groups when necessary
- Change diapers and assist with potty training
- Assist with Next Gen's French Program
- Assist on transportation
