Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various projects, including framing, drywall installation, concrete forming, and restoration tasks. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform concrete forming tasks as required for various construction projects.
- Install drywall and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Knowledge of concrete forming processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
