- Formulation and development of liquid and solid dose products, including formulation design, process scaling, technology transfer, and manufacturing of registration batches.
- Create and execute formulation and process development plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct pre-formulation and formulation studies impacting product stability and delivery.
- Analyze experimental data, organize results into presentations, and effectively present findings to senior management with minimal guidance.
- Develop experimental designs to support process evaluation and optimization.
- Prepare product development documentation for regulatory submissions and maintain a high level of familiarity with drug delivery systems, regulatory requirements, and FDA guidelines.
- Take initiative and demonstrate ownership of formulation development and processing activities.
- Operate under moderate to minimal supervision for daily tasks and new assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical experience
- In-depth knowledge of drug delivery systems and applicable Health Canada and FDA regulations and guidelines.
- Proven ability to design and carry out experiments independently and analyze resulting data.
