Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operations, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that food is prepared and served in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Do preps, opening or closing of the store as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter and kitchen area.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering help as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
