Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders for dine-in and take-out services
- Prepare and portion simple food items such as appetizers, rice dishes, and sauce by using fryers, rice cookers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment
- Assemble, package, and label take-out orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages at the front counter for to-go and take-out orders accurately
- Keep food prep stations, counters, and work areas clean and organized
- Refill supplies and restock refrigerators and utensils
- Assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients when needed
- Process payment and checkout process efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous food counter attendant experience in an Asian restaurant is an asset, but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Able to work under pressure efficiently and stand for a long period
