Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful floral arrangements that meet our customers' needs. As a Florist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service while showcasing your artistic skills in floral design.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences and budgets.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including landscape maintenance of outdoor displays.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any inquiries or issues.
- Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to enhance product offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is a plus.
- A background in landscape maintenance or gardening is advantageous.
- Creativity and an eye for design are essential for creating appealing floral arrangements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
