Maple Leaf Construction Ltd. is currently hiring seasonal FLAGGERS for the City and Out of Town.

Duties include:

• Direct and control traffic safely on the construction site
• Operate a pilot vehicle when a jobsite may require
• General labour duties and contributing to the team as needed
• Follow, understand and apply safe job procedures, safe work practices, and policies

Requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours (mostly day or night shift depending on job)
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Comfortable and capable of standing for long periods of time
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and ability to commute to the worksite at the start and end of each day
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, sun, wind, rain, etc.)
• The ability to handle stressful situations
• The ability to listen and communicate specific instructions clearly, firmly, and courteously
• Can wear CSA approved steel-toed boots
• Ability to work in the city and out of town during the season

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
