Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Fire & Safety – Helper II (9.33-hour shift) on a permanent basis on our HSSE team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.
What you’ll do:
- To efficiently carry out duties involving activities of the Fire & Safety Section under the general direction of the Safety Inspector Supervisor.

The Team: You will work closely with other Fire & Safety Helpers and Inspectors and report to the Safety Inspector Supervisor.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:
- Have grade XII including Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Math/Algebra 30 is required. If the candidate is missing one of these three classes, the application will be accepted provided the missing class is completed within a prescribed period.
- Have good working knowledge plus experience in the general maintenance of Fire & Safety equipment, emergency response procedures and firefighting tactics & techniques would be considered an asset.
- Have a good working knowledge of refinery operations and practices would also be considered an asset.
- The successful candidate must be willing and capable of climbing stairs, ladders and working at heights. There will be an expectation to wear approved respiratory equipment and enter confined spaces as well.
This opportunity is a Level Helper II – Non-management position offering $44.69 per hour and resides with UNIFOR Canada local union 594.
