Job Description:
As a Certified Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of fire alarm systems. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and standards, ensuring the safety of buildings and their occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation of fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
· Maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, ensuring proper function and compliance with codes and regulations.
· Testing fire alarm systems, conducting inspections, and performing necessary repairs.
· Documentation of service activities and compliance with safety regulations.
· Collaboration with other technicians, project managers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
· Ensure compliance with local and national fire codes and standards.
Qualifications:
· Certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
· Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems.
· Strong knowledge of fire codes and regulations (NFPA 72).
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
