Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The Fire Watch plays a crucial role in ensuring safety during construction activities and other operations where fire hazards may be present. This position requires constant monitoring of work areas to prevent fire incidents and respond effectively in case of emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction environments and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor designated areas for potential fire hazards during construction or maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clear line of communication with team members and emergency services.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to identify any fire risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Document any incidents or observations related to fire safety.
- Assist in the implementation of fire prevention strategies and training for staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with system design and construction inspection processes is a plus.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying potential hazards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining focus on safety.
