Teachers Plus Credit Union is accepting applications for a Full-time Financial Services Administrator. This position is ideal for an individual who has experience in customer service, administration, organization, balancing transactions and handling cash.

Reporting to the Manager, Operations the Financial Services Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to credit union operations including updating and maintaining credit union online channels, managing inventory of office supplies and promotional materials and coordinating meetings and events. The role also provides informal leadership to the Financial Service Representatives in their delivery of promotion and financial products and services to members and is the first point of contact for all telephone and online inquiries.
To be successful in the role, you would:
Ø Acts as an informal work leader to the FSR’s, coordinating lunch breaks and distributing tasks as they come in from other team members as required, reviewing their work for accuracy, completeness and adherence to policies and procedures.
Ø Acts as the first point of contact for all in branch visitors and telephone or online inquiries. Determines the nature of their business, and responds to basic requests, or escalates to the appropriate staff member for assistance as appropriate.
Ø Responds to and/or provides assistance in resolving basic account related problems and complaints or or escalates appropriately as required
Ø Assists members to make the most effective usage of service offerings.
Ø Conducts outgoing member care calls as prescribed to meet targets.
Ø Looks for opportunities to refer members to loan officers as part of overall growth strategy for credit union and to meet personal targets.
Ø Opens and closes Vault daily
Ø Opens and balances ATM and night depository daily
Ø Determines cash needs of the branch and controls vault cash. Orders, receives, maintains, secures, distributes, and balances vault cash. Removes cash to vault treasury to reduce drawer limits when appropriate.
Ø Operates switchboard to receive incoming calls, determine nature of the calls, and handles or transfers call to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Ø Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Maintains internal telephone listing of extensions.
Ø Performs daily processing of ABM reports to ensure holds on deposits remain or are released after posting has been verified. Provides administrative support to the credit union including memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents; project support; maintenance of filing system; receiving, sorting, and routing of incoming mail and courier shipments; processing of outgoing mail and courier shipments; sending out transaction records and other mailings; sending faxes and retrieving and routing incoming faxes; and other general office administration.
Ø Monitors and maintains inventory of office supplies and manages all office supply procurement.
Ø Assists the CEO with Board and Committee related matters including direct preparation and distribution (uploading) of records such as agendas, minutes or any other board related information.
Your background:
The Financial Services Administrator will have successfully completed a high school diploma or GED plus a one-year office administration course plus have plus one to two years related experience in an administrative support environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is at TPCU Level 3 and has a salary range of $46,306.30 – $54,478.00
