The Financial and Cost Analyst is a hybrid role, which means that you have to be in the office 3 days a week and you can work from home 2 days a week. You will need to be comfortable commuting to Guelph, ON at least 3 times a week.
As a Financial and Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation of reports, product costing, and analysis
Key Responsibilities
Reporting
- Prepare financial budgets.
- NA KPIs
- Austria KPIs
- Controlling reports
- Management reports
- Other reports as assigned.
Analysis
- Analyse G/L accounts that comprise COGS.
- Prepare gross margin analysis and co-ordinate feedback from sales.
- Communicate observations with respect to risk/control/cost to Manager, Costing & Analysis
Costing
- Perform, costing settlement transactions.
- Review costs via Cost Center reports.
- Assist DISPO/Senior Sales Managers with costing related issues.
- Assist with preparation of detail on cost center level, annual budget, plus two forecasts.
- Conduct standard cost calculations on product level.
Required Qualifications:
- College Diploma/Business Degree in business administration or accounting
- Accounting designation preferred
- 3+ years’ experience working as a financial analyst/costing in a Manufactuing environment.
- Advanced Scel Skills
- Working knowledge of cost accounting
- Skilled Financial analysis and reporting
- Business and sales analysis an asset
- SAP knowledge an asset
Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 based on experience and skills.
