Braley Financial Advisors Inc. is a financial services firm in Niagara Falls with a large client base. The firm offers clients a wide range of financial services to address insurance, investment and estate planning needs.
The Position
We are seeking an individual to provide exceptional service to existing clients, as well as prospects. The position will provide administrative support to the Advisor and the clients, in order to:
- Ensure effective client communication and completion of account paperwork.
- Support the entire account opening process from the preparation of client documentation to the co-ordination of the account opening and asset transfers.
- Check daily trades and other transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain all instructions, notes, and necessary reports in an organized and accessible manner to satisfy compliance obligations.
- Remain up-to-date with all policies, procedures, and available programs/offerings.
- Complete all required continuing education requirements for licensing.
- Provide reception coverage.
The position will also support the Advisor(s) with sales calls, events, and marketing strategies designed to increase sales and will:
- Act as a point of contact between advisors and their clients.
- Make outbound calls and emails to set up meetings/client engagements and events.
- Establish a clearly defined course of action to accomplish goals and monitor progress against targets supported by strong note taking and effective communication.
- Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies by remaining up to date with rules regarding client accounting and industry regulations.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within a support capacity in an investment or insurance firm.
- Post secondary diploma or degree in business, finance or a related discipline (completed or in progress). Will consider students fulfilling the 12- 16 month university internship portion of their degree.
- Intermediate level Excel and Word skills.
- IFIC Mutual Funds license (completed or in process) as MFDA licensing is required.
- Familiarity with Univeris, or similar enterprise wealth management software (preferred)
- Familiarity with Equisoft, or similar CRM software (preferred)
- A high degree of comfort with technology to lead our office automation project
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
- A pleasant, service oriented phone demeanour
- Exceptional letter writing skills
