The successful candidate is a highly motivated self starter that demonstrates a high level of customer service and problem-solving skills, demonstrates technical knowledge confidently to our clients and has mastered their communication skills to ensure our clients and the INNOVA team are always in the know.
This position is primarily responsible to assemble, install, troubleshoot, calibrate, network, recondition and repair a variety of mechanical, software and electronic medical equipment.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate, network, recondition instruments in house and at customer site
- Troubleshoot, adjust, align, replace or repair electronic, computer & mechanical equipment, assemblies and components using the equipment’s service manuals, parts list, and schematic diagrams
- Follow internal procedures, place parts orders for customer repairs
- Perform preventative and customer-initiated maintenance at customer site as defined by a service contract
- Provide an exceptional customer experience for our clients
- Write estimates for customers identifying in detail the required work and or parts
- Remain up to date with assigned jobs and promptly complete pending estimates, and work orders
- Work independently and assist other technicians while in the field
- Learn and understand new products and services
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Team and Manager
Requirements:
- Technical training, Technician/Technologist or Engineering, certificate in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Biomedical; combination of related relevant work experience and training may be considered
- Previous field service experience in similar field preferred
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Can work independently, and be able to grow and promote the business
- Good computer knowledge (hardware and Windows) plus proficient in Microsoft Office
- Rapid and efficient work execution
- Superior customer service skills, professional attitude, and image
- Valid driver's license with own vehicle that can accommodate the transportation of customer’s equipment
- regular travel throughout British Columbia is required with occasional out of province travel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and higher
- Located in the Greater Vancouver area
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $52,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
