Field Service Technician, Critical Environment Technologies

Role Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual with strong troubleshooting skills to join our field service team. This full-time position includes traveling to customer sites in the lower mainland and providing onsite installation, repair and calibration services for installed systems, onsite training of end users, writing detailed service reports and collaborating with colleagues at CET.
Responsibilities:
Install and service all types of gas detection & indoor air quality equipment
Calibrate, troubleshoot & repair customer equipment
Build strong, durable relationships with key customers
Maintain knowledge of CETs product-line and suggest new products & solutions to customers
Write summary reports at the conclusion of each job
Interface with engineering suggesting improvements to CET's product-line
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge and diverse experience in the servicing of commercial electrical products
Interest in & willingness to learn about gas detection and indoor air quality products
Strong spoken and written English communication skills
Great people skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work without supervision
Comfort using basic Microsoft computer programs such as Excel and Word, etc.
Driver’s license and a clean driving record
Bonus:
Experience with gas detection, indoor air quality equipment, HVAC, the printing industry, or another similar industry
Experience selling professional services to facility and property managers
