Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in areas such as mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and facilities maintenance. You will play a key role in supporting our operations by performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Customer Service & Sales
- Represent the internal and external image of the Three Hills, Hanna, and Linden locations.
- Build trust and maintain positive relationships with walk-in customers.
- Provide excellent customer service at the front desk, outside, or over the phone.
- Complete sales and R.O.A. transactions.
- Handle Flaman inquiries, rentals, transport, and invoicing.
- Fill warehouse, propane, and methanol orders.
Deliveries & Support
- Safely deliver packaged products and equipment in accordance with Koch Fuel standards.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Transport and deliver Flaman equipment.
- Operate skid steer for yard and loading tasks.
- Support truck operators hauling petroleum products when business requires, following CPPI and company safety requirements.
Site & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain and clean the Three Hills and Linden Bulk Plants daily, following Koch Fuel policies and procedures.
- Clean and maintain fuel pumps, cardlock systems, and site offices.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of cardlock and bulk plant equipment.
- Adjust to daily site needs (e.g., snow removal, yard cleaning, minor maintenance).
- Maintain equipment and follow direction from the Site Manager.
- Uphold image standards as set by the Safety/Image Manager.
General Responsibilities
- Receive and follow oral or written orders from the Site Manager.
- Open and/or close the store in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
