You will assist in performing general and specialized maintenance and repairs to site properties, inspections and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities will include maintenance/service of HVAC systems, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting duties as required. You will maintain a clean and safe work environment and demonstrate the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to patrons and employees.
Responsible for the assistance of general maintenance of the building and facilities including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
- General Facilities Maintenance: Painting Indoor & outdoor, repairs to walls/flooring/other related items, office installation, and maintenance
- fabrication/construction as needed, install /TV/other IT related items,
- provide support to Contractors including, HVAC units/facility electric & lighting, plumbing, Sprinkler systems, etc.
- General Landscaping Duties and support: Parking lot inspections and maintenance support of asphalt and concrete repairs, general landscaping support not included in regular yearly contract, tree trimming, turf damage, sidewalk issues and potholes, fence line repairs, sign support and installations, pest, rodent and insect support
- All other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Property Management
- Assist in performing minor repairs on company machinery, equipment or appliances.
- Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failures, or breakdowns.
- Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete scheduled hands-on maintenance to all processes and systems including HVAC, plumbing, air handling systems etc.
- Ensure that facility systems are in working order and respond to issues or concerns as required

- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems

- A high school diploma or comparable combination of working experience and education.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in commercial/industrial maintenance
- Strong organization, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
