Maskunow Construction commenced operations in 2022 as a granular surfacing crew and in 2023 expanded into the highway paving industry, and into the seal coat industry in 2024. We are looking for someone with extensive road building experience who takes pride in their work as a Finish Grader Operator. Although travel is often required throughout Saskatchewan during the summer road construction season, a significant portion of our 2024 work will be a short drive east of Saskatoon on Highway 5.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating a grader.
- Valid Drivers License Required.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Pre-site access testing (including Marijuana) is required.
Responsibilities
- As a finish grader operator, you have a key role in building the granular portion of roads and highways.
- Operate equipment productively, efficiently and within limitations
- Work well with others
- Fuel logs, inspections, report maintenance or damage
- Show initiative
Typical daily work period is 12 or 13 hours. Shifts are 10 on, 4 off. All long weekends off. In addition to paying a live-out allowance (LOA), we will provide accommodations. If you have your own camper, we will provide you with additional compensation. Overtime after 40 hours per week.
