Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook min of five years to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services when required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
