Experienced Landscaping Labourers — One-off rehab (option for seasonal PT depending on results), Barrie area. Lawn restoration experience is a must
Term & Pay: 4–6 week project, $20–$30/hr DOE; option for ongoing 1–2 days/week seasonal maintenance if results are strong.
Scope (working with our consultant + live-in caretaker):
- Lawn recovery: mowing/edging cycle, dethatch/overseed, topdress, aeration as directed.
- Bed rehab: deep clean, edge, weed, heavy mulch, re-plant per plan.
- Pruning & small tree care: hand/pruner work, deadwood, sucker removal (no climbing).
- Invasive control: mechanical/manual removal; chemical only if licensed & approved.
- Hardscape tidy: gravel drives/paths, fence-line cleanup, debris hauling, tool care.
Requirements:
- 3+ seasons on pro landscape crews; can work efficiently without micromanagement.
- Safe use of mowers/line-trimmers/backpack blowers; trailer loading; basic irrigation checks.
- Nice-to-haves: chainsaw ticket for ground work;
- Paperwork: WSIB clearance (if a contractor), proof of liability insurance.
