Our expeditor is the link between the concession staff and the customers, ensuring food is prepared efficiently and to the highest standards. You should love the challenge of working in a fun and fast paced enviroment and able to lead the concession team.
Main Purpose/Role of the Position:
Oversee the smooth & efficient running of our concession space including staff, inventory and getting food out in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn and know how to use all the concession equipment including proper operating and cleaning procedures
- Organize an efficient production flow to the concession given the various needs of the space
- Oversee the daily running of the concession including staff supervision & training as well as proper sanitization of the space
- Be the expeditor at the concession window.
- Help train all concession staff on proper use and care for machines, menu items & food safety practices
- Oversee inventory of all concession supplies, and rotating inventory weekly. Assist with placing orders for supplies each week if needed. Ensure there is always enough stock for the farm operations
- Menu creation & development of new possible menu items based on the equipment available
- Ensure daily checklists are completed correctly
- Assist with the final season clean of the concession, oversee the packing up and storage of all equipment for the off season
Required Qualifications:
- Food Safe Level 1 or better
- Kitchen experience is a must
- Experience overseeing a work team would be an asset
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm manner and able to give and receive feedback in a calm and constructive manner
- Able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders safely & comfortably and able to stand for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Occupational or standard first aid
Working Conditions:
Fast paced, busy work environment. Hours and days of work will vary during the training period. In the fall this position will work primarily Thursday to Monday. This may vary due to holidays. Hours to be determined in consultation with the chosen candidate.
Training will begin in early August
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2.5 months
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
