Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for experienced excavator operators for nightshift and dayshift on a pond project located approx 80 minutes NW of Whitecourt. Work contract approx 1 month long.
Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
Work Details
- 10 - 11 hrs/shift + 1 hr of drive time,
- 7 days a week, long weekends off (4 days),
- Hotel/LOA available,
- Transportation provided to and from work.
Excavator Scope of Work:
- Minimum 4 years of excavator experience,
- Production loading rock trucks, shaping berms,
- Working around other heavy equipment & ground personnel.
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.
PPE Requirements
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat,
- Gloves.
